Technician - Robotics & Automation

Job Summary
Conduct daily checks, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on robotic and automated systems to minimize downtime. Install, maintain, and document automation and control system updates, while designing and building end-of-arm tooling or fixtures as needed. Lead automation projects from concept through implementation, including scope definition, budgeting, vendor selection, and validation. Coordinate with vendors for repairs and technical support, and collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and production teams. Participate in the automation steering committee to define strategy and identify new automation initiatives with cost-benefit analysis. Maintain a safe work environment and support production teams through equipment training. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering with 3+ years of robotics experience.

- Experience in managing automation or engineering projects
- Vendor and contractor coordination experience

- Ability to work hands-on

- Ability to work in a project management capacity
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to move about the facility for extended periods of time
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

- Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 3+ years of experience in robotics and automation
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
