Job Summary
Repair and maintain Walmart facility Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC/R skills and tools, respond to work orders, support stores and associates, inspect and diagnose equipment, comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines, and participate in safety and environmental programs. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and complete required training. The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, emergency response, documentation of activities, and adherence to safety policies within Walmart facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Vocational or Technical HVAC/R certification and 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls OR 4 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls or related field
- Type I and Type II Environmental Protection Agency certification for refrigerant handling
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with clean driving record and ability to pass MVR
- High School Diploma or equivalent
