Technician, Refrigeration/HVAC at Walmart is responsible for maintaining and repairing Walmart facilities' Refrigeration and HVAC equipment across the local store environment. duties include utilizing commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills with hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs; receiving and processing repair Work Orders via the work order management system; providing prompt response to emergency maintenance calls; inspecting, operating, or testing facilities and equipment to diagnose issues; adhering to OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines through Walmart's safety and environmental policies; lifting up to 75 pounds and working at heights; completing required training to operate equipment safely; and adhering to safety policies during work. Qualifications include 2 years of HVAC/R maintenance or 4 years of related mechanical maintenance experience, EPA Type I/II Certification for refrigerant handling, and a High School Diploma or equivalent, with a valid driver's license; location at 9350 Cortana Pl, Baton Rouge, LA; compensation includes hourly wage range $23.00-$45.00 with potential premiums; benefits include health, 401(k), paid time off, and education assistance through Walmart’s benefits programs.
