Job Summary
Technician, Refrigeration/HVAC responsible for maintaining and repairing Walmart facility Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC/Refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, and power tools. Duties include processing work orders to support stores, responding to emergency maintenance, inspecting and testing facilities to diagnose issues, completing safety training and adhering to OSHA and EPA guidelines, and performing tasks at heights (lift up to 75 pounds). Required Qualifications
- Vocational or Technical HVAC/R certification
- 2 years experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls OR 4 years experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls
- Type I/Type II EPA Certification for refrigerant handling
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with clean MVR
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines
