Job Summary
Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician at Walmart responsible for maintaining and repairing the facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets, using hand tools and digital/power tools, processing work orders, responding to emergency maintenance calls, inspecting and testing facilities, and ensuring OSHA/EPA regulatory compliance. Requires 2 years of commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance experience, EPA Type I/II (or Universal) certification, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent; physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights. Includes an $8,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
- Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
- Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
- Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record
- 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent
