Job Summary
Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills with hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment; respond to emergency maintenance calls; inspect facilities and equipment to diagnose issues; operate the work order management system to process repairs and document activities; ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety and environmental guidelines; lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights; require EPA Type I/II certification for refrigerant handling and 2 years of mechanical maintenance experience (or 4 years in related field); HS diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license. Required Qualifications
- HVAC/R certification
- 2 years experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls OR 4 years experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls or related field
- Type I/Type II EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
