Job Summary
Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills with hand tools, digital tools, and power tools. Receive repair Work Orders via the work order system to support Stores and Store associates; provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls; inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues; complete required training to operate equipment safely; ensure OSHA and EPA regulatory compliance by following safety and environmental guidelines; ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights; comprehensive benefits including health, retirement, and education programs.
Required Qualifications
- Vocational or Technical HVAC/R certification
- 2 years experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls OR 4 years experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls or related field
- Type I/Type II EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass MVR
- 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent
