Job Summary
Perform repairs on Caterpillar and related equipment, disassembling and reconditioning machines while utilizing diagnostic tools and service manuals. Maintain clean workspaces, secure tools, and operate vehicles and cranes within design limitations. Complete time sheets, service reports, and parts orders accurately; report inaccurate flat rates to management. Work overtime as required by workload or customer needs, including weekend assignments. Maintain current forklift certification, MSHA certificate, and hazardous waste training. Demonstrate proficiency with Cat diagnostic tools and electronic systems while following safety guidelines and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- one to two years mechanical experience
- equivalent education and experience
