Job Summary
Carry out preservation works on domestic and commercial sites, including stripping and replacing timber floors, door frames, architraves, and windows. Perform damp proofing, remove wall coatings, apply woodworm treatments, and install wall ties and cavity drain membranes. Offer valuable advice to customers while adhering to all risk assessments and health and safety measures. Ensure sites are left clean and tidy and complete other required tasks within the branch as needed. Full-time, permanent role with a 40-hour week (potential 48 hours) and a basic salary of £26,655 per annum. Requires a UK driving licence held for over two years.
Required Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points
- Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs
- You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working as a Labourer or Tradesman within the property or construction industry would be advantageous
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills
