Technician, Processing Facilities (Tank Farm - Overnight Shift)

Job Summary
Receive all client waste—both bulk liquids/solids and containerized—and ensure it is processed in a timely and safe manner. Load and unload waste vehicles including vacuum trucks, tankers, straight trucks, and van trailers. Prepare shipments of hazardous and non-hazardous waste for transport and ensure incoming waste conforms with acceptance protocol. Be trained to enter confined spaces such as bulk tanks, tankers, and vacuum trucks for cleaning. Operate plant machinery including pumps and pressure washers; and assist with general maintenance. Take samples from waste vehicles and containers for lab analysis. Complete job hazard risk assessments, paperwork, and ensure standard operating procedures are followed. Attend Household Hazardous Waste collection events on weekends. Perform general shop clean-up and maintenance. Other tasks as required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be clean shaven
- Physically fit
- Must be comfortable working at heights
- Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located
- Must be able to provide valid documentation confirming their eligibility to work in the country where the job is located
