Job Summary
Diagnose and repair brakes, suspension, engines, electrical systems, HVAC, and emissions while educating customers on vehicle issues and solutions. Maintain shop efficiency, follow safety policies, and provide technical guidance to support your team. Stay current with training and certifications to ensure accurate diagnostics. Requires high school diploma, six months of certified technician experience, and four ASE certifications in Brakes & Steering/Suspension plus two additional areas. Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays is essential, along with physical stamina for lifting 50 lbs and operating service documentation systems.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months' experience as a certified technician or mechanic
- 4 ASE certifications required: Brakes & Steering/Suspension, plus 2 more from A1, A6, A7, A8, or L1
- Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Operate a vehicle
- Use computer systems for service documentation
