Job Summary
Conduct receiving, storage, and replenishment of pharmaceutical products in the Mail Order Pharmacy warehouse. Move new shipments to appropriate storage spaces, pull products for shipping with carriers, and inspect items for damage. Utilize scanners and hand-held devices to maintain inventory accuracy while operating manual lifts, reach trucks, and transfer equipment. Work alongside a team under direct supervision of Lead Technicians and Pharmacy Supervisors to meet production goals. Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 55 lbs, bending, stooping, and working upright for sustained periods. Maintain close visual acuity and concentration while utilizing equipment that elevates over 15 feet.
Required Qualifications
- Verifiable High School diploma or GED
- Ability to occasionally lift/reach/twist/turn/bend/stoop/walk with up to 55 lbs
- Ability to utilize equipment that elevates over 15 feet
- Ability to remain upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time
- Ability to concentrate on a task over a period without being distracted
- Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than whole hand or arm
- Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction
- Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist
- Stooping to a considerable degree and requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles
- Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of spoken word
- Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Work mandatory overtime/extended work week, when needed
- Must include resume or work history for consideration
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of old orders, pharmaceutical drug names, NDC system and SAP
- Formal Pharmacy Technician training and/or experience
- Experience in medical, fulfillment center, warehouse or healthcare environments
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
