Job Summary
Execute packaging orders according to Standard Operation Documents while maintaining strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices and safety protocols. Perform daily packaging duties, operate equipment within specifications, and conduct quality checks as directed by supervisors or in-process Quality Assurance members. Participate in changeover processes including sanitation and setup, report all safety incidents and quality deviations immediately, and collaborate with the team to meet operation targets. Maintain proper supplies of packaging components and communicate equipment issues to mechanical staff. Requires Grade 12 education, ability to lift 20 kg, and previous experience in a GMP environment.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 education or recognized equivalent
- Able to lift weights up to 20 kg
- Able to meet the standard physical demands in a manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to express oneself clearly in English (written and verbal), understand, and follow verbal and written work instructions without errors
- Numeric skills to understand and achieve business targets
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Self-Managed team player with a positive attitude exhibiting cooperation, communication, flexibility and initiative to acquire functional skills
- Basic experience in the use of internet environment and MS office tools
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Packaging Operator experience in a GMP environment i.e. Food / Pharmaceutical industry is an asset
