Job Summary
Technician, Packaging on production lines responsible for daily packaging activities, ensuring safety, quality, and throughput. Performs quality inspections, reports defects, and assists with troubleshooting minor line issues and relief duties. Operates multiple packaging machines (e.g., labelers, fillers, case packers, palletizers) and supports continuous production while maintaining GMP and food-safety compliance. Maintains housekeeping and supports training through job shadowing and educational opportunities. Works in a fast-paced beverage-manufacturing environment and collaborates with leadership to meet production goals. Location-based duties at DrinkPAK HQ in Santa Clarita, CA; must be able to work day and/or night shifts (12 hours).
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of experience in a food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- experience operating, setting up, or maintaining packaging line equipment (e.g., labelers, fillers, case packers, palletizers, shrink wrappers)
- Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and food safety regulations
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to problem solve and multitask
- Basic experience using ERP or WMS
- Able to read and communicate in English
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
