Job Summary
Manage blending, testing, and analysis of lubricant samples in CCTC or third-party labs to support formulation development and technical troubleshooting. Prioritize sample handling, reagent testing, and data processing while ensuring safe, compliant operations under Castrol HSSE standards. Operate and maintain lab equipment through daily setup, calibration, and quality checks. Generate accurate test results for metalworking fluids, additives, and greases using international analytical techniques. Collaborate with the team to track turnaround times and communicate findings transparently. Fully remote position requiring a Chemistry degree and two years of industrial lab experience.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Chemistry (or relevant scientific discipline)
- at least 2 years equivalent formal laboratory experience from industrial
- Strong HSSE mindset
- previous experience of working in a laboratory environment
- ability to work in an agile and independent manner
- strong team player
- Proven track record of attention to detail and generation of accurate test data
- Good communication skill
- Effective English reading and writing
- Experience of analytical techniques and requirements for the product area (lubricants, additives, grease etc) is great advantage
- Travel Requirement: No travel is expected with this role
