Job Summary
Certified Medical Assistant in our Brooklyn-based Primary Care and Multi-Specialty practice performs clinical and clerical duties to support providers and office operations. Responsibilities include chaperoning in exam rooms, assisting providers, triaging patients, collecting urine specimens, drawing blood, and taking/recording vitals (height, weight, blood pressure, temperature, pulse). Requires CMA or RMA certification, graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program, and current BLS. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM with overtime as needed; on-site role with travel to other Brooklyn locations. Travel to cover additional practice locations within Brooklyn is required. Location: 1224 8th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11215.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
- National Medical Assistant Certification CMA or RMA
- Current Medical Assistant Certification CMA or RMA through AAMA, AMT, NHA or NCCT
- BLS
