Job Summary
Provide mechanical engineering support for FlightSafety International's In-Service Training Devices. Develop and validate mechanical concepts and designs; produce documentation such as Service Bulletins, component evaluations, reports, and proposals; coordinate simulator relocations and related planning; assist and teach mechanical applications to personnel at various centers; research publications to support maintenance and upgrades; maintain accuracy of databases related to mechanical concerns; extensive travel, on-call shifts, and remote repair capability to restore training devices to full operation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Education: High school diploma
- Minimum Experience: 10 years’ experience in simulation; or A&P plus 8 years’ experience in simulation; or Associates in Mechanical engineering or Mechanical engineering technology with 5 years’ simulation experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
