Job Summary
Assists in the installation and qualification of manufacturing equipment, troubleshoots day-to-day manufacturing issues, and identifies and implements system improvements to improve throughput, yield, and product performance. Develops a complete understanding of Deposition processes, equipment, and support systems; solves production, equipment, and process problems; collects data and reports experimental results; provides training to production associates; develops internal documentation including drawings, SOPs, and process specifications; ensures safety and housekeeping standards; maintains process control and responds to SPC alarms.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associates degree in a technical discipline
- Two or more years of machine or mechanic experience as a primary job function
- One year First Solar technical experience
- Six months experience as Temporary Manufacturing Engineering Technician at First Solar
