Job Summary
Maintenance Technician Senior at CHS Sun Basin in Bruce, WA, responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems; diagnose problems and complete repairs to minimize downtime; coordinate with supervisors on maintenance planning and scheduling; maintain a strong safety culture; may involve extended hours and on-call availability; provides training to less experienced team members and handles a variety of routine and advanced repair tasks in a high-demand agricultural/co-op environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Production, Operations, and/or Maintenance
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Experience troubleshooting issues, identifying and completing appropriate repairs, and implementing measures to prevent reoccurring maintenance problems
- Working knowledge of the operations, control, and functions of equipment and machinery
- Ability to be on-call during peak hours
- Ability to work extended hours as needed
- Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and may include drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements and FMSCA Clearinghouse
