Job Summary
Conduct maintenance on plant equipment including conveyors, drives, belts, pneumatic, and electric controls while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Perform startup and shutdown of plant utilities, manage spare parts and consumables to minimize downtime, and assist line operators in setup and sanitation processes. Respond to emergencies by notifying management immediately and follow established safety rules and regulations. Maintain PM schedules and perform minor building, HVAC, electrical, and other maintenance duties requested by management. Work the first shift from 5am to 3:30pm with availability for overtime.
Required Qualifications
- MUST train on 1st shift 5am - 330pm
- MUST be available to work overtime when needed
- Mechanical and electrical knowledge, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment
- Able to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow established safety rules and regulations
- Maintain PM schedule on equipment
- Startup and shutdown of plant utilities
- Maintain and manage spare parts, consumables to minimize downtime and support operations
- Works directly with management for operation efficiencies and continuous improvement
- Perform minor building, HVAC, electrical and any other maintenance duties requested by management
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with maintenance of various plant equipment including conveyors, drives, belts, pneumatic, and electric controls, compressed air systems, and other similar equipment strongly preferred
