Job Summary
Multi-skilled electromechanical technician responsible for maintaining equipment in a proactive manner, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical and process controls on food production and packaging equipment. Perform preventative maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime, improve asset reliability, and build operator technical capabilities. Involves installation, maintenance, and repair of complex equipment integrating electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems; troubleshooting electrical control systems, motor starters, VFDs, drives, motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical assemblies. Strong emphasis on safety, TPM/PM programs, training operators, and using CMMS/Prometheus/SAP for work orders. Shift-based role (2nd and 3rd shifts) with a pay rate of $35.67/hr plus shift differentials; located at Nestlé Cleveland factory; requires ability to work unsupervised, collaborate with operators and other trades, and adhere to OSHA/GMP safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or GED
- Two-year Technical Degree in Maintenance related areas such as Industrial Maintenance and Mechatronics or Electromechanical Maintenance, Robotics, or equivalent industrial maintenance experience is preferred
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance and electrical/controls experience is preferred
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment is required; food industry experience is preferred
- Creative problem-solving skills & logical thinking to perform equipment improvements and enhancements
