Job Summary

Perform all necessary maintenance of facility equipment and grounds in a timely, cost-efficient manner. Execute on-site service and repairs while adhering to OSHA, EPA, and company safe practices, including full LOTO and PPE compliance. Troubleshoot systems at the electrical, mechanical, and robotic levels to meet 90% of estimated repair times. Manage waste generated from work and pull reports into the CMMS system. Identify cost-saving opportunities and collaborate across departments. Work independently with no supervision, reading technical drawings and manuals as required.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED
  • 3+ years maintenance experience
  • High school diploma/GED and 5+ years of experience in a related field
  • High school diploma/GED and 2-year technical school & 3+ years' experience
  • Knowledge of manufacturing equipment
  • Knowledge of computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proven Communications Skills
  • Ability to read prints and suggest modifications as required
  • Proven Electro/Mechanical skills
  • Knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical, Vacuum Systems and Robotic
  • Ability to follow Safe Work Practices
  • Full understanding of LOTO
  • Ability to work independently with no supervision
  • Capable of troubleshooting to the systems level
  • Full knowledge of all PM's
  • Must be capable of pulling reports and entering data or pass downs into/from the CMMS system
  • Must meet at least 90% of Estimated Repair Times
  • Follows standard OSHA, EPA, and Company safe practices on all work assignments
  • Ability to read electrical & mechanical drawings and technical manuals
  • Responsible for adherence to all safety procedures, good housekeeping standards, and the wearing of PPE
  • Notify EHS Department if there are questions or concerns with the management of hazardous waste
  • Responsible to manage waste generated from any work that is performed
  • Will sit, stand, or walk short distances for up to 12 hours per day
  • Will climb stairs or steps on a frequent basis
  • Will lift up to 58 pounds on an occasional basis, according to work instruction
  • Will lift up to 37 pounds on a frequent basis
  • Will push or pull up to 50 pounds of force on an occasional basis
  • Will push or pull up to 37 pounds of force on a frequent basis
  • Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis
  • 20/40 vision in each eye separately and both eyes (with or without correction), the ability to distinguish between red, yellow, and green and peripheral vision >70 degrees is required
  • May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis
  • May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis
  • Must comply with all safety standards and procedures
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including, but not limited to: steel-toed shoes, cut-resistant gloves, jackets, aprons &/or arm guards, safety glasses or goggles, hearing protection & respirators) as a condition of employment and continued employment (requires little or no facial hair)
  • All candidates receiving an offer of employment must successfully complete a background check and any other tests that may be required
  • Must be available for weekend shifts

Desired Qualifications

  • Journeyman's Card from an accredited apprentice ship program preferred
  • Knowledge of CMMS is a plus but not required if coming in from the outside. Internal candidates need to know the CMMS system
  • Project Leader experiences a plus
  • Must be available for weekend shifts
