Job Summary
Maintenance Technician II (Day Crew/Night Crew or M-F) performs on-site service and repair of facility, equipment, and grounds in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Requires high school diploma/GED with 3+ years maintenance experience (or 5 years in related field, or 2-year technical school plus 3 years). Journeyman’s Card preferred. Must read electrical/mechanical drawings, manuals, and understand CMMS; knowledge of manufacturing equipment, PMs, and safety practices (OSHA/EPA; LOTO). Responsibilities include completing daily assignments, collaborating with other departments, identifying cost-saving opportunities, training others as needed, and possibly serving as Team Lead when needed. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years maintenance experience OR 5 years related field OR 2-year technical school with 3 years experience
- Journeyman’s Card preferred
- Knowledge of manufacturing equipment
- Knowledge of CMMS (preferred but not required if coming from outside)
- Project leadership experience a plus
- Proven communications skills
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical prints and technical manuals
- Electrical, mechanical, vacuum systems and robotic knowledge
- Follow Safe Work Practices and LOTO
- Ability to work independently with no supervision
- Capable of troubleshooting to systems level
- Knowledge of PMs and CMMS data entry
- Reading/writing reports and data entry into CMMS
- Ability to train other employees
- Ability to meet estimated repair times
- Follows OSHA and EPA safety practices
