Job Summary
Sets up and configures low voltage systems (e.g., security systems, fire alarms, CCTV, audio/video systems) and installs/terminates labels on cables to project requirements; performs regular maintenance checks to ensure system functionality; identifies and resolves issues promptly, and restores systems to optimal condition. Provides technical support and end-user training on operating and maintaining low voltage systems; communicates with clients to understand needs and provide solutions; ensures installations comply with local, state, and federal regulations and follows safety guidelines. Documents installations, maintenance, and repairs; generates reports on system performance and improvements; collaborates with other technicians, engineers, and project managers to complete projects; stays current on industry trends and best practices and applies them to improve processes. Travel domestically to multiple facilities or sites is required; benefits include health coverage, PTO, and education assistance programs.
