Job Summary
Technician, Low Voltage responsible for setting up and configuring low voltage systems (security systems, fire alarms, CCTV, audio/video, network cabling), performing maintenance checks, diagnosing and resolving issues, providing technical support and end-user training, ensuring installations comply with local/state/federal regulations, maintaining records, and collaborating with technicians, engineers, and project managers to successfully complete projects. Requires reading blueprints/schematics, using hand/power tools and testing equipment, knowledge of electrical codes, and relevant certifications. Travel domestically to multiple facilities or work-sites, with a comprehensive benefits package including health, PTO, education benefits, and surrogacy expense reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must hold state and jurisdiction required certification and license for the state/jurisdiction of work
- Prior work experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Prior work experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
- Prior work experience in role requiring knowledge of local electrical codes and standards
