Job Summary
Technician, Line Service (CLT FT) handles aircraft ground support duties and customer service at Modern Aviation. Responsibilities include fueling, towing, parking, de-icing, and cleaning aircraft; operating ground support equipment; ensuring timely delivery of services; maintaining ramp awareness and safety; following SOPs and safety regulations; communicating with teammates and customers; and performing additional duties as assigned. The role emphasizes hands-on operational tasks, quick, professional decision-making, and maintaining a safe, efficient ramp environment with strong communication and teamwork. Required: ability to stand for long periods, physical tasks, open availability for variable shifts, 18+ years old, valid driver’s license with clean record; sponsorship not provided. Preferred: prior customer service experience and basic knowledge of aircraft servicing practices.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years with less then 6 points
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Must be able to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of aircraft servicing practices preferred
