Job Summary
Conduct aircraft fueling, towing, parking, de-icing, placement, and basic cleaning while operating ground support equipment per safety standards. Maintain continuous ramp awareness for aircraft movement, FOD prevention, and changing weather conditions during arrivals and departures. Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting passengers and flight crews with high energy, anticipating needs, and representing Modern Aviation professionally. Work effectively with Line Service Technicians, Customer Service staff, and Operations leadership while communicating clearly during active operations. Perform duties with minimal supervision and adapt to variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have open availability as work schedules vary, including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver's license
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong mathematical aptitude
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Physical capability to perform frequent bending, reaching, and manual tasks
- Must meet physical demands associated with ramp operations
- Able to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer
Desired Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of aircraft types and aircraft servicing practices preferred
