Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a fleet including aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and specialty lines equipment like generators, pumps, and HVAC systems. Utilize advanced knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems to troubleshoot issues and minimize downtime while adhering to safety protocols. Requires flexibility with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment and the ability to lift 50 pounds or more. High school diploma or GED required with 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment
- Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems
- Advanced knowledge of electrical systems
- Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (Spanish or Other)
- May need to provide mechanic's tools of the trade
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to squat
- Must be able to crouch
- Must be able to reach
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more
- Must be able to work indoors
- Must be able to work outdoors
