Job Summary
Supervise HVAC Field Technicians repairing, retrofitting, and replacing environment comfort systems on-site at customer locations. Train and develop technicians, provide technical advice, and assist with scheduling, organizing, and dispatching staff. Coordinate on-site installations and repairs by examining building layouts, gathering materials, and maintaining vehicles through service manual records. Evaluate area safety needs to provide feedback on policies and assist in implementing safety procedures. Assist the Service Manager with hiring and firing recommendations. Requires an Associate's degree in HVAC or equivalent, five years of HVAC experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver's license. Hourly base pay starts at $60.00.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum five (5) years' experience in HVAC
- Working knowledge of HVAC products, systems, electronics and pneumatic controls
- EPA approved Universal Technician Certification
- Valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years
- Ability to pass additional drug screening (Safety Sensitive Role)
