Job Summary
Technician, Kitting at DrinkPAK in Fort Worth, TX. This role focuses on ensuring GMP and food safety compliance for products produced at the facility, coordinating food safety programs (HACCP, Environmental Monitoring, Pest Management, Raw Material and Finished Product Sampling), issuing and validating documentation (Certificate of Analysis, bills of lading, packing lists, delivery notes, quality certificates), and collaborating with Supply Chain to sample and approve ingredients, chemicals, and packaging materials. The position supports SQF Food Safety and Quality systems, collects and analyzes in-process parameters (Brix, pH, Titratable Acids), and contributes to continuous improvement of Quality Culture. Requires knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, Environmental Monitoring, microbiological testing, and familiarity with GFSI audit schemes. Preferred PCQI certification and bilingual English/Spanish abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in food science or related field (Biology, Microbiology, Food Microbiology, etc.)
- Minimum of 3 years experience as QA/QC in the Beverage industry
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, Environmental Monitoring, and microbiological testing
- Knowledge and experience of GFSI audit schemes
- Certified Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) and HACCP preferred
- Excellent communication skills and a team player
- Strong leadership abilities
- Understanding of government regulations in relation to food processing
- Strong personal computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, WHS systems)
- Willing to work weekend and evening shifts as required
