Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and replace engine parts, electrical faults, and minor body or trim repairs while ensuring work is completed effectively on the first visit. Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostic testing using electronic equipment for lighting, instrumentation, and emissions systems, and reassemble or adjust assemblies to meet OEM and JMG requirements. Identify cause-and-effect relationships, examine information from multiple sources, and communicate with drivers to ascertain faults, including conducting test drives when necessary. Maintain a tidy workshop environment, ensure warranty parts are accurately tagged and stored, and support apprentices as required. Required Qualifications
- A relevant trade qualification with recent work experience or a minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience
- Experience with BMW / European or Honda / Japanese vehicles is essential
- A current full driver's licence
- All employees must successfully complete a National Police Check & Pre-Employment Medical Check prior to commencement
