Job Summary
Technician III, Repair & Maintenance Engineering focused on planning, designing, and implementing maintenance programs for facilities and equipment at the Houston manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines (clamp systems, injection units, hydraulic/electric components), reading schematics, manuals, and technical drawings; maintaining and troubleshooting auxiliary equipment (dryers, thermolators, hot runner controllers, robots, EOAT, material handling systems); documenting work in Maximo; collaborating with operators, supervisors, and engineers; participating in installation and commissioning of new equipment; strong troubleshooting to minimize downtime; adhering to GxP/SOP requirements and maintaining rigorous documentation; driving continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- English language proficiency
- Ability to read schematics/manuals/Technical drawings
- Experience with maintenance of injection molding machinery or similar mechanical systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency with Maximo or CMMS systems
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and onsite
