Job Summary
Technician III, Production Technical Operations at Alcon to support the manufacturing production team by setting up, operating, and troubleshooting complex production equipment to maintain output and quality targets. Monitors production quality, identifies defects, and implements corrective actions; manages resources and maintains accurate production records to support performance tracking; supports continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with GxP standards and SOPs. Collaborates with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve technical and operational challenges; requires strong technical depth in production equipment and experience in regulated manufacturing environments.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 Years of Relevant Experience
- Experience in regulated manufacturing or technical production environment
- Adherence to GxP standards, SOPs, and quality requirements
- Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel for tracking/ reporting production metrics
- Experience using Maximo (or similar systems) for ordering/tracking spare parts inventory
