Job Summary
Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pest control products safely according to company guidelines while following assigned routes to complete daily scheduled services. Diagnose lawn issues by evaluating grass health, soil quality, and pest problems to execute appropriate treatment plans. Operate and maintain application equipment like sprayers and spreaders, performing routine inspections, calibration, and minor repairs. Educate customers on post-treatment best practices and answer service-related questions while documenting all treatments, chemical usage, and complex concerns for the Service Manager. Submit daily service logs and reports, monitor inventory levels, and adhere to all safety procedures and state regulations for chemical application.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to complete company-provided training on safety and chemical application practices
- Maintain certifications or licenses required for chemical application
