Job Summary
Part-Time Technician II performs on-site or in-house servicing, repair and/or installation of company products. Responsible for field support and installation across electrical, data, and fiber optic systems, including troubleshooting, preventive/corrective maintenance, documentation, and reporting. Responsibilities include installing equipment, upgrading/modifying systems, diagnosing hardware/software issues, maintaining spare parts, and ensuring operational readiness with attention to safety when working at heights.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED strongly preferred
- Must maintain driver’s license in good standing
- Must be comfortable working at heights that could be in excess of 50 ft
- Familiarity with basic electrical or networking concepts is helpful
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools
- Ability to work with hand tools and small electronic components
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
