Job Summary
Prototype Technician II is responsible for delivering batteries that meet product and quality specifications, supporting multiple lab-focused functions (prep, welding, conductive plastic terminal assembly, assembly, quality control, filling, measuring) and performing tests and data recording. The role involves visually inspecting parts for defects, operating lab equipment, updating travellers with cell/battery specs, and collaborating with the design team to refine efforts. Responsibilities include assisting equipment operators, loading/unloading materials, maintaining shop cleanliness, and potentially supporting Field Projects. Education path requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent, with associate's degree, trade school, or equivalent experience preferred. Travel is Local, with less than 10% overnight travel within North America; working conditions include typical lab/manufacturing hazards and the need to wear safety gear. The role supports Eos Energy’s Znyth aqueous zinc battery technology and involves working in a fast-paced R&D environment focused on producing cells and batteries for testing.
