Job Summary
Technician II, Process supports the NPI engineer on new product introductions, ensuring BOMs, drawings, routings and work instructions are followed on the NPI Prototype Line. Responsible for modifying or developing new processes/methods, tools, fixtures, or equipment for repeatable, cost-effective manufacturing, and provides feedback on new products. Analyzes root causes, implements corrective and preventive actions, and improves First Pass Yield. Addresses machine/tool breakdowns and maintenance; works across three rotational shifts. Requires experience with SAP, ability to read manufacturing drawings, and strong hands-on technical skills. Recommended knowledge includes fiber cable/termination and 7QC tools, FMEA, and control plans.
Required Qualifications
- BE/B-Tech or Diploma with 3-4 years relevant experience
- Experience in SAP
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings
- Strong technical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to interact with personnel at different levels
- Familiarity with 7QC tools, FMEA and control plan (recommended)
- Fiber cable and fiber termination knowledge (recommended)
