Job Summary
Fill and deliver medications under pharmacist supervision, performing sterile and non-sterile preparation, compounding, and dispensing. Manage inventory control, controlled substance accountability, and unit dose prepackaging while operating pharmacy equipment and processing patient information. Triage and escalate scope-of-practice questions to staff pharmacists as needed. Ensure adequate supplies for continuous patient care and handle payer adjudication tasks. Requires 1-3 years of pharmacy technician experience, PTCB and DORA certification, and proficiency with computer systems. Regular shift work available with a salary of $22.16-$31.02 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of pharmacy technician experience in a healthcare or retail setting
- CPHT-Certified Pharmacy Technician - PTCB certification
- PHAT-Licensed Pharmacy Technician - DORA license
- Ability to work as a team member
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of basic pharmacy practices and procedures
- Mathematical computation skills
- Organization and communication skills
- Good typing, keyboarding and proofreading skills
- Ability to work independently within pharmacy scope of practice
- Knowledge of prescription processing and third-party billing, if applicable

Desired Qualifications
- Post High School Diploma or Certificate Program completion of a pharmacy technician training program
