Job Summary
Facilities Technician II responsible for maintenance and calibration of GMP utility systems, process equipment, and clean room infrastructure in a cGMP environment. Responsibilities include CMMS-managed maintenance, GMP documentation, vendor coordination, annual shutdown support, on-call and shift coverage, equipment performance evaluation, interpreting P&IDs and layouts, routine preventative maintenance (pumps, autoclaves, centrifuges, reactors, BSCs, Isolators, WFI, clean steam, HVAC, gases), diagnosing issues, repairs, and ensuring safe, compliant operations in a fast-paced team setting. Also supports CAPA, Deviations, and Change Management with assembly, wiring, and installation tasks as needed, and maintains clean, orderly spaces.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Trade school or undergraduate education is preferred
- Professionally Licensed in Wastewater Treatment, Plumbing, Electrical, Refrigeration desirable
- 1+ years of applicable GMP experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with CMMS like Blue Mountain RAM
- Experience with DeltaV PCS or other control system a plus
- Ability to read, understand, and follow SOP, P&ID and work instructions
- Strong communication skills
