Job Summary
Fill and mix tankers per fill charts, prioritize and route work orders, and treat lawns with products specific to turf types. Drive company vehicles defensively while maintaining equipment and keeping mixing areas clean. Educate customers on additional services, fill out invoices, and document applied products and target pests. Properly dispose of empty pesticide containers per EPA regulations and follow all safety instructions. Requires DOT certification, category 3 HLT (Tennessee), and ability to lift 60 pounds. Full-time role with competitive hourly pay, commission, and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a DOT Certification including being 21 years of age or older
- Ability to obtain a category 3 HLT certification (Tennessee Only)
- Satisfactory driving
- Pre-Employment Drug Screen and background check
- Organized to ensure all procedures are done correctly
- Time-management skills to ensure daily route is completed
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read maps
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly throughout the shift without assistance
- Ability to understand hazard communication and follow safety instructions
- Ability to wear proper safety equipment while performing duties
