Job Summary
Conduct preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and troubleshooting on conveyors, machinery, and electrical/controls systems in the Distribution Center. Diagnose electrical problems using technical drawings and diagnostic tools, then operate material handling equipment and complete work orders, records, and logs according to established procedures. Assist other technicians in equipment maintenance, initiate new procedures to maintain 100% efficiency, and communicate with individuals or groups to minimize downtime. Perform shift work including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Coursework or certification in electronic technology
- 2 years industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic technology (including troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment)
- 3 years industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic technology (including troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment)
- PLC/PC program knowledge and troubleshooting experience
- Industrial electrical hands-on experience and troubleshooting, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24 VDC systems
- Advanced troubleshooting skills with PCs and industrial controls devices/networking
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, relating technical issues to business leadership
- Team Member will perform shift work
- Must be willing to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Both Associate's Degree in electronic technology
- 2 years industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic technology (including troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment)
