Job Summary
Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pest control products safely while following assigned routes to complete daily scheduled services. Diagnose lawn issues by evaluating grass health, soil quality, and pest problems to determine appropriate treatments. Operate and maintain application equipment, including sprayers and spreaders, ensuring proper calibration and performing routine maintenance. Educate customers on post-treatment best practices and document all treatments, chemical usage, and service logs accurately. Submit daily reports to the Service Manager and monitor inventory levels to notify management of supply needs. Maintain required certifications and adhere to all safety procedures and state regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Time management skills
- Ability to complete company-provided training on safety and chemical application practices
- Maintain certifications or licenses required for chemical application
