Job Summary
The Technician I role focuses on First Article Inspection (FAI), including report preparation, engineering drawing review, and customer communication. Responsibilities include verifying product compliance with customer specifications, managing fluctuating workloads, executing tests, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring quality compliance before product release. The role requires a two-year degree or equivalent experience, proficiency in reading engineering drawings, and strong communication skills, with a preference for candidates with an Associate’s degree and experience in technical manufacturing environments.
Required Qualifications
- Two-year degree or technical certificate, or 3–5 years of relevant experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment with technical products
- Ability to read and accurately interpret engineering drawings
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
