Job Summary
Supply Technicians I are responsible for transporting packaging and ingredient supplies to various work centers and replenishing packaging supplies, with the ability to manage multiple tasks through the day. They perform and document safety, quality, regulatory, maintenance, and sanitation activities; operate a forklift and handheld scanner to supply and replenish materials; perform inventory counts; support higher-level technicians; conduct daily cleaning and sanitation; adhere to Master Sanitation, Safety, and Quality programs; ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and plant SOPs; contribute to continuous improvement and maintain a safe, inspection-ready facility; and participate in daily shift meetings while documenting PMs, CILs, quality checks, and maintenance. Knowledge of SQF/QA, GMP, and food-safety practices is utilized, along with general equipment operation and data-entry skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Forklift operator certification/license (stand-up and/or sit-down) or ability to obtain
- English language proficiency (written and spoken)
