Job Summary
Technician I - Structured cabling to install and service data/AV/CCTV cabling, racks/cabinets, and related devices per BOM and installation drawings; travel/overtime may be required; must work professionally with customers and adhere to safety and quality programs; background check and valid driver’s license required; post-secondary education in electrical/telecom/electronics preferred; strong hardware/tools skills and ability to collaborate with Project Managers and Sales Teams to complete installations.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in a technical role within the integrated security industry
- Experience pulling, terminating, and testing cat 5/6 and fiber optic cables
- Experience installing other cabling infrastructure (racks, cabinets, etc.)
- Valid Driver’s License with clean abstract and no restrictions
- Must be bondable and able to pass a background check
