Job Summary
Operate automated manufacturing equipment such as solder paste printers, reflow ovens, and inspection tools to assemble electronic components onto printed circuit boards. Set up machines, load basic programs, and perform routine maintenance to ensure production runs smoothly. Monitor production flow, conduct basic inspections for quality standards, and assist in resolving simple equipment or process issues with guidance from senior technicians. Follow written instructions, diagrams, and standard operating procedures to maintain accurate component placement and assembly. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe while adhering to all company safety and quality policies. Work closely with team members to improve efficiency and processes. This Technician I role is based in our manufacturing facility and includes hands-on training for those with basic mechanical aptitude.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic mechanical or machine operation aptitude
- Willingness to learn technical processes and follow detailed instructions
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- US citizenship, Permanent US residency, or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8 USC 1324b (a) (3)
Desired Qualifications
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing, production, or mechanical environment
- Technical training, mechanical coursework, or related hands-on experience
