Job Summary

Accurately weigh fragrance formulas and complete compounding activities within agreed timelines while prioritizing requests and coordinating completion dates. Order raw materials, packaging supplies, and urgent requirements through SAP, maintaining collections and ensuring proper labeling, stock availability, and timely replacement of expiring materials. Record flashpoint information, create application tasks, and prepare finished fragrance applications according to perfumer instructions. Support perfumers with raw material retrieval, fragrance preparation, and dilution creation for evaluations and training. Perform raw material approvals by assessing color, physical state, and odor consistency against existing standards. Prepare smelling strips and dilution samples for fragrance evaluation and approval. Maintain accurate records, formula data, trial oil collections, and weekly compounding reports. Ensure laboratory cleanliness, equipment upkeep, and adherence to EHS and safety guidelines.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a laboratory, fragrance, flavor, chemical, FMCG, or manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with SAP or other enterprise systems for inventory, procurement, and data entry activities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in weighing, compounding, and documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting timelines
  • Good communication and coordination skills for working with perfumers and cross-functional teams
  • Commitment to laboratory safety, quality standards, and compliance requirements

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working in a fragrance, flavor, cosmetics, or specialty chemicals laboratory
  • Knowledge of raw material handling, compounding processes, and laboratory inventory management
  • Hands-on experience with SAP transactions related to procurement, stock management, and laboratory operations
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Experience supporting product development, applications, or sensory evaluation activities
