Job Summary
Test and troubleshoot various types of meat processing equipment while performing building maintenance and adhering to preventative maintenance schedules. Follow lockout/tag out procedures, keep work areas clean and organized, and strictly observe GMP/HAACP procedures. Read schematics and blueprints, use meters and test equipment, and apply strong troubleshooting skills to industrial machinery. Work in a team environment with flexible hours that may include extended shifts, weekends, and overtime based on production needs. Lift 50 lbs or more, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods in a noisy environment with meat odors.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old to apply
- Not currently enrolled
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance and electrical experience
- Able to lift 50 lbs. or more
- Able to climb a ladder
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be flexible and able to work overtime and weekends when required
- Knowledge of common maintenance practices and procedures
- Electrical education/training
- Experience performing maintenance on industrial machinery
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints
- Ability to use meters and test equipment
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Knowledge of industrial machine operation
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to complete paperwork neatly and accurately

Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a technical field
- PLC and food manufacturing industry experience
- Preferred two years industrial maint experience or five years' experience with monogram
- Strong electrical, mechanical experience
- Electrical Journeyman's license
- Ability to work in a team environment and a diverse workforce
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
