Job Summary
Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repairs on facility equipment across production, warehouse, refrigeration, and wastewater areas. Diagnose and resolve malfunctions in machinery while interpreting blueprints, specifications, electrical schematics, and work orders to minimize downtime. Respond promptly to maintenance issues and contribute to improving production methods, equipment performance, and product quality. Adhere to all regulatory requirements including USDA, FDA, OSHA, and EPA policies. Maintain consistent attendance and wear provided PPE when exposed to hazardous conditions. This role requires flexibility for extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and outdoor weather extremes, with a minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience
- At least 2 years of electrical/PLC troubleshooting experience
- At least 2 years of mechanical maintenance experience
- Ability to understand and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Ability to read and interpret safety procedures, technical documents, and maintenance manuals
- Effective verbal and written communication across all levels of the organization
- Proficient in basic arithmetic including fractions and decimals
- Ability to read and interpret multi-meters, blueprints, and electrical specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Must be able to work in fast-paced and cold environments with a high level of reliability and accountability
- Must be 18 years or older
- Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Industrial maintenance certification from an accredited institution
