Job Summary
Move and accurately record the movement of raw materials, packaging, supplies, finished goods, and other items to and from the warehouse, freezer, cooler, and production lines using a forklift, powered pallet jack, or pallet jack. Accurately complete all required paperwork, including issue and return tags or RF scanning, and report shortages of needed materials to supervisors. Maintain a neat work area, wear PPE, and adhere to safety standards while removing line waste. Requires forklift and motorized pallet jack certification, ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 110 pounds occasionally, and passing a written exam and physical testing.
Required Qualifications
- Must obtain Forklift and Motorized Pallet Jack Certification
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Ability to round decimals to the nearest whole number
- Ability to measure and input numbers to calculate correct formulas
- Successful candidate must pass a written exam
- Successful candidate must pass physical testing
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 110 pounds
